Job Description

We are seeking an Anesthetist for a 65-day locum tenens assignment in Kentucky, with a start date of Jun 1, 2026. This position offers a dynamic schedule, primarily with 7a-3:30p shifts, and involves comprehensive clinic and call coverage. The Anesthetist will play a crucial role in managing diverse surgical cases, contributing significantly to patient care within a supportive environment.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide clinic and call coverage.
  • Manage a wide range of cases including OB (majority), Podiatry, General Surgery, Orthopedics, and GI.
  • Administer epidurals and spinal anesthesia.
  • Perform comprehensive general surgical procedures and endoscopy.
  • Support specialized orthopedic procedures.
  • Provide support for Obstetrics/Gynecology (OB/GYN), including potential labor and delivery.
  • Assist with eye surgeries and Ear/Nose/Throat procedures.
  • Deliver specialized services in urology and colorectal surgery.
  • Participate in cancer-related surgical procedures.
  • Handle pain management and some trauma cases.
