Job Description

 We are seeking a skilled Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) for a 60-day locum tenens assignment at a multi-specialty clinic in Indiana. The assignment begins on 12/01/2025, with a full-time schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a combination of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, primarily working with adult patients in various specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, endoscopy, ophthalmology, and occasional pediatric cases. This opportunity offers a chance for extension and requires an active Indiana license.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide anesthesia care for adult patients and occasional pediatric cases

• Assist in various surgical procedures, including orthopedics, general surgery, endoscopy, and ophthalmology

• Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations and develop appropriate anesthesia plans

• Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia accordingly during procedures

• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period

• Collaborate effectively with the anesthesiology team and other healthcare professionals

• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
