Job Description

 Wellhart is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens position at a clinic in Indiana. This 120-day assignment requires a CRNA to provide anesthesiology services for a variety of cases including general, OB, and endoscopy procedures. The position starts on 10/06/2025, with a work schedule of 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (40 hours/week), with no weekends or call duties. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with various anesthesia techniques, and while not required, experience with blocks, spinals, and epidurals is preferred. This role offers an opportunity to work in a clinic setting using the Cerner EMR system. The assignment may be extended for the right candidate.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide anesthesia services for various surgical procedures

• Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and develop anesthesia plans

• Administer and monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures

• Manage patient recovery in the post-anesthesia care unit

• Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals

• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period

• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using Cerner EMR

• Adhere to clinic policies and procedures

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives


Additional Information:

• Valid Indiana CRNA license required

• Experience in general anesthesia, OB, and endoscopy cases preferred

• Proficiency in blocks, spinals, and epidurals is a plus

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Flexibility to adapt to various case types and patient needs
