Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for an anesthesiology locum tenens position in Illinois. This assignment starts on Feb 2, 2026, and spans 60 days, with day shifts available Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. The CRNA will join a collaborative team to manage 5-7 surgical cases per day, providing anesthesia care including some regional blocks.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage 5-7 surgical cases daily
  • Provide anesthesia care, including administration of some regional blocks
  • Collaborate with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, physicians, and other CRNAs
  • Ensure optimal patient safety and high-quality clinical outcomes


Additional Information

  • Active Illinois CRNA license required
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • DEA and Illinois CSR licensure required
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
