Job Description

We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Iowa, beginning as early as May 1, 2026. This role features a Monday through Thursday schedule from 6am to 4pm, with Tuesdays dedicated to 100 percent orthopedic blocks. The assignment supports coverage during maternity leave and offers a collaborative environment focused on high-quality anesthesia care.


Job Details

  • Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 6am-4pm; Tuesdays are exclusively orthopedic block cases; scheduled cases typically end by 1pm, but CRNA is asked to remain available in case additional cases arise


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide anesthesia services for scheduled cases, including orthopedic procedures
  • Administer and monitor anesthesia throughout surgical procedures
  • Remain on-site until 4pm to provide coverage for any add-on cases
  • Collaborate with surgical and perioperative teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Adhere to all facility protocols and safety standards
