Job Description

We are seeking a board-certified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) specializing in Anesthesiology for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Iowa. This opportunity starts on Dec 29, 2025, and offers day shifts from 6:30 am to 4:30 pm with as-needed weekend and call requirements. The CRNA will provide general anesthesia with obstetric cases, including TOLAC, as well as care for healthy pediatric patients.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Administer general anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures, including obstetric cases with TOLAC and healthy pediatric patients
  • Provide conscious sedation as required
  • Exclude cases involving cardiac and neurosurgery
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period
  • Maintain accurate and thorough anesthesia records
  • Collaborate with surgical and healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
