Our client is seeking a skilled Anesthetist for a 140-day locum tenens assignment in Florida, commencing on Jun 8, 2026. This position offers a favorable schedule with no call and no weekend responsibilities, focusing on a diverse array of cases such as Ortho, General, GYN, GI, Urology, Podiatry, ENT, and Neuro across various surgical settings.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia care for patients.
- Manage a variety of cases, including 100% Orthopedics in surgery centers, and Orthopedics, General Surgery, Gynecology, Gastroenterology, Urology, Podiatry, ENT, and Neurosurgery in hospital settings.
- Focus on primary case types such as General Surgery and Orthopedics.
- Work within a schedule that includes no call or weekend responsibilities.
- Serve across multiple facilities, requiring cross-credentialing.
Additional Information
- Board certification in Anesthesiology is required.
- EMR Systems: SIS for Surgery Centers and Cerner for Hospitals.
- Active Florida medical license is required.
- Average credentialing timeframe is 90 days.
