Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Anesthetist for a full-time, 156-day assignment in Connecticut, beginning Jun 1, 2026. This role involves a demanding Monday through Friday schedule, guaranteeing four 12-hour shifts weekly, requiring flexibility for either 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM shifts. The Anesthetist will be responsible for comprehensive general anesthesia, ambulatory surgery, critical care, perioperative, and adult anesthesiology services, including adult trauma cases, with no obstetric requirements.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide full-time coverage, Monday through Friday, including non-consecutive shifts.
  • Work four 12-hour shifts per week, with options for 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM, requiring schedule flexibility.
  • Bring a minimum of 2 years experience; candidates with 18 months of current experience are also encouraged to apply.
  • Administer all general anesthesia to patients.
  • Perform ambulatory surgery anesthesiology.
  • Engage in critical care anesthesiology.
  • Handle perioperative and adult anesthesiology cases.
  • Address adult trauma cases; pediatric trauma experience is not required.
  • Opportunity does not include obstetric cases.
