Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Connecticut, starting Mar 23, 2026. This opportunity offers a variety of shift options, including 8, 10, 12, and 16-hour schedules, at a community hospital and surgery center with a diverse case mix and minimal trauma exposure.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide anesthesia care for a facility with operating rooms, endoscopy suites, maternity suites, and ASC suites
  • Manage anesthesia for a broad case mix: general surgery, orthopedics, gastroenterology, robotics, obstetrics, urology, and podiatry
  • Participate in a medical supervision model
  • Ensure safe perioperative care for all assigned cases
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical and perioperative teams
  • Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management
