We are seeking a certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for a 52-week locum tenens assignment at a community hospital and surgery center in Connecticut. This opportunity begins on Jan 5, 2026, and features a Friday through Monday call schedule. The assignment offers a diverse case mix in a medically supervised setting and utilizes the Epic EMR system.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide anesthesia care for a range of surgical procedures, including general, orthopedic, gastroenterology, robotic, obstetric, urology, and podiatry cases
  • Deliver anesthesia services across 20 main campus ORs, 2 endoscopy suites, 2 dedicated maternity suites, and 4 ambulatory surgery center suites
  • Work within a medical supervision model
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other clinical staff to optimize patient outcomes
  • Document clinical care using the Epic electronic medical record system
  • Participate in on-call responsibilities as outlined in the schedule


Additional Information

  • Must hold an active Connecticut license as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
  • Minimum 13-week contract commitment required
  • Little to no trauma cases
