Job Description

We are seeking an Anesthetist for a 40-day assignment in Arizona, starting Jul 6, 2026. This role involves full-time coverage during July and August, with weekday shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, including call and weekend requirements. The Anesthetist will manage a diverse range of cases, primarily focusing on general surgery, OB/GYN, GI, and orthopedic cases, with occasional CathLab involvement.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide full-time coverage during July and August.
  • Credentialing takes approximately 30 days; emergency privileges are available for clean files.
  • Handle a variety of cases including general surgery, OB/GYN, GI, orthopedics, and occasional CathLab cases, excluding hearts or neuro.
  • Primarily focus on orthopedic and general cases.
  • Work across two main operating rooms.
  • Execute Monday through Friday shifts.
  • Work from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
  • Expected to work 10-20 shifts per month.
  • Participate in call rotation.
  • Weekend shifts are required.
  • Manage off-site beeper call with hourly callback compensation.
