Job Description

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in Texas. This opportunity begins on Jan 12, 2026, and involves taking call for 7 consecutive days at a time, from Monday 7am through the following Monday 7am. This is an excellent chance for an experienced OB/GYN to provide essential coverage and ensure continuity of care during this defined contract period.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide inpatient and consultative coverage for obstetrics and gynecology cases during assigned call period
  • Respond promptly to calls and manage urgent situations as they arise
  • Oversee labor and delivery cases, including emergency interventions as needed
  • Perform gynecological procedures and surgeries as required while on call
  • Communicate effectively with nursing staff and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient encounters
