Job Description

We are seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist with an active New York license for a 60-day locum tenens assignment starting Dec 29, 2025. This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule, 8AM to 5PM, focusing on 80 percent oncology and 20 percent hematology cases. Candidates with experience in bone marrow procedures are preferred, although most such procedures are handled by interventional radiology. Board certification in Hematology and Medical Oncology is required.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide outpatient and inpatient care with an emphasis on oncology (approximately 80 percent) and hematology (approximately 20 percent)
  • Manage both benign and malignant hematology cases
  • Collaborate with interventional radiology for bone marrow procedures as needed
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
  • Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care


Additional Information

  • Active New York medical license required
  • Board certification in Hematology and Medical Oncology required
  • Experience with bone marrow procedures is a plus
