Job Description

We are seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist for a 36-week locum tenens assignment in Maryland, starting Oct 6, 2025. This role includes a combination of clinic shifts Monday through Thursday and rotational weekend call duties. Ideal candidates will be board certified in Hematology, hold a current BLS certification, and have at least three years of experience.


Job Details

  • Schedule:
  • Clinic: Monday to Thursday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Weekly inpatient consult and night call
  • 24-hour weekend call every 4th weekend
  • Inpatient consult support rounding on admitted patients


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive care in Hematology and Oncology
  • Manage outpatient and inpatient cases
  • Perform consultations and follow-up visits
  • Participate in on-call rotation as specified
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes


Additional Information

  • Board certification in Hematology required
  • Maryland state licensure or eligibility to obtain before start date
  • DEA and CSR licenses necessary
  • Proficiency with the Epic EMR system
