We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 40-day locum tenens assignment in California starting Dec 1, 2025. This flexible opportunity offers 6 to 8 shifts per month, each running 11a-11p, with the option for you to choose your own schedule.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the emergency department
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute and urgent medical conditions
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to manage patient care
  • Perform procedures and interventions as appropriate within emergency medicine scope
  • Document patient encounters and treatments accurately
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations and prioritize care effectively

Additional Information
  • Active California nurse practitioner license required
  • Board certification in Family Medicine required
  • Strong emergency room experience required
  • Certifications needed: Basic Life Support (BLS), ATLS, ACLS, PALS
