Job Description

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Cardiologist for a 9-day locum tenens assignment in California starting Dec 27, 2025. This opportunity covers 24-hour call shifts from 6am to 6am on specific dates, providing critical support for both emergency department and inpatient consultations.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Consult patients in the emergency department and inpatient units
  • Collaborate with hospitalists and specialists
  • Supervise pharmacological and exercise stress tests
  • Interpret outpatient and inpatient echocardiology, Holter, and event monitors
  • Optional/Ideal: Perform TEE; optional procedures include transvenous pacing and tilt table interpretation


Additional Information

  • Board certification in Internal Medicine or Cardiology, or board eligibility within 5 years required
  • Active California license required
  • DEA certification required during credentialing
  • Clean malpractice background highly preferred
  • Must be available for specified coverage dates
