Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) specializing in anesthesiology for a 96-day locum tenens assignment in Rhode Island. This opportunity begins on Dec 29, 2025, with a preferred schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week, and flexibility for 10- or 8-hour shifts. The assignment is based at a community hospital and same-day surgery center, providing a mix of surgical cases in a medically directed environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide anesthesia care for general surgery, urology, robotics, orthopedic surgery, minor vascular surgery, breast surgery, and minor plastic surgery cases
  • Work within a medically directed anesthesia program
  • Deliver anesthesia services in four operating rooms and one endoscopy suite
  • Participate in same-day surgery center procedures
  • Collaborate closely with surgical, nursing, and medical teams to ensure patient safety
  • Adhere to all clinical protocols and facility policies
  • Maintain accurate and thorough anesthesia records


Additional Information

  • Must hold an active Rhode Island CRNA license
  • Experience with all B&B cases required; no head, heart, or obstetric cases
