Job Description

We are seeking a Wound Care Physician for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Ohio, starting Dec 22, 2025. This role features day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, providing care for a variety of complex wounds in a clinical setting. Candidates must hold an active Ohio medical license and be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is preferred for hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Evaluate and manage acute wounds across all healing phases
  • Treat surgical wounds, including those intentionally caused during procedures and non-healing surgical wounds
  • Care for traumatic wounds such as severe scrapes, scratches, deep punctures, tears, incisions, and burns
  • Treat various ulcers, including arterial, pressure, venous insufficiency, and diabetic ulcers
  • Manage chronic venous insufficiency, pilonidal cysts, gangrene, radiation injuries, and burns
  • Document assessments and treatment plans according to clinical protocols


Additional Information

  • Active Ohio medical license required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
