Job Description

We are seeking a Vascular Surgery Physician Assistant for a locum tenens assignment in Maryland starting Jan 30, 2026. This 42-day opportunity involves providing post-operative care with 10-hour shifts, 7:30am-5:30pm, across both weekday and weekend schedules. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, be board certified, and hold an active Maryland license.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Round on post-operative vascular patients, provide consults, and manage discharges
  • Offer secondary coverage for post-operative thoracic surgery patients and ICU (not as a primary service line)
  • Deliver all floor-based patient post-operative care (no OR coverage)


Additional Information

  • Must have an active Maryland Physician Assistant license
  • Board certification in Vascular Surgery required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in vascular, cardiovascular, or cardiothoracic surgery
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • DEA and CSR licensure required
