Job Description

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatrician for a 28-day locum tenens assignment in North Dakota. This opportunity begins Nov 21, 2025, and involves seven 24-hour call shifts per month with dates scheduled in advance. The assignment includes inpatient pediatric and newborn care, C-section coverage, and a variety of procedures in a dynamic clinical setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Attend vaginal deliveries if requested
  • Attend all scheduled and emergent C-sections
  • Admit and discharge newborns
  • Admit and care for pediatric patients
  • Perform circumcisions
  • Provide newborn resuscitation, intubations, and umbilical venous catheterizations
  • Perform lumbar punctures


Additional Information

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics highly preferred
  • Active ND license or IMLC required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required
  • Clean malpractice record required
  • Availability at time of name clear required
