We are seeking a Pediatric Diagnostic Radiologist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Kentucky, starting Mar 9, 2026. This opportunity features a Monday to Friday schedule with daytime hours, nightly procedure call, and weekend coverage. The assignment is ideal for radiologists experienced with a broad range of pediatric imaging modalities and procedures.

Schedule:
Monday – Friday: 8am–5pm, with procedure call each night
Saturday and Sunday: 8am–2pm reading, procedure call until 8am the following day
Weeknight procedure call: 5pm–8am
Call back paid by the hour (1 hour guaranteed for call back)
Responsibilities and Duties
Interpret a range of pediatric imaging studies including:
Fluoroscopy procedures (VCU, barium enemas, MBSS, NJ/NG placement, UGI, and others) with RA assistance
Nuclear medicine studies (GFR, HIDA, pediatric-appropriate Nuc Med)
Plain films including skeletal surveys, chest x-rays, extremity/body imaging, and trauma evaluation
C-arm images from the operating room
CT and MRI body imaging
CT neuro imaging (required for weekend coverage)
Pediatric ultrasound of head, neck, and spine (including NICU/newborn)
Scoliosis and plain films of head, neck, and spine
Read 0–120 studies per day, with heavy emphasis on plain film and ultrasound (60–90 studies daily)
Perform and interpret CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine (nuclear medicine, PET, and fetal imaging experience is a major plus)
Participate in procedure call as scheduled
Additional Information
Active Kentucky medical license required
Board certification in Pediatric Radiology required
Experience in CT neuro imaging is required for weekend shifts
Proficiency with a variety of pediatric imaging modalities expected
