Responsibilities and Duties
Deliver direct patient care in pediatric anesthesiology
Supervise and teach residents, fellows, and medical students
Participate in general anesthesiology cases, with primary focus on pediatric patients
Opportunities may arise in subspecialties including cardiovascular, obstetric, and critical care anesthesiology, pain management, and research for qualified candidates
Perform 4 to 5 cases per day in the hospital setting
Ensure adherence to best practices and patient safety protocols
Additional Information
Must have or obtain an active Oklahoma medical license prior to employment
Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology (ABMS/AOA required)
Pediatric Anesthesiology fellowship training required
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Experience with Epic EMR preferred
Faculty appointment eligibility through the OU College of Medicine, based on academic credentials
