Schedule: Preference for 5 x 10-hour shifts, 7 am to 5 pm; will consider 4 days per week; 4 to 5 cases per day
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide direct patient care in pediatric anesthesiology and general anesthesiology cases
Administer anesthesia for 4 to 5 hospital cases per day, primarily pediatric elective cases
Perform all cases personally and supervise residents or CRNAs as required
Teach and supervise residents, fellows, medical students, and other trainees
Maintain detailed case logs, including a minimum of 100 pediatric cases within the past 12 months
Participate in opportunities in subspecialties such as cardiovascular, obstetric, and pain management if qualified
Engage in academic responsibilities, with eligibility for faculty appointment based on experience and accomplishment
Ensure adherence to hospital policies and quality care standards
Additional Information
Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology required (ABMS/AOA)
Pediatric Anesthesiology fellowship training required
Must hold or obtain an Oklahoma medical license prior to employment
Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Must provide documentation of pediatric anesthesia case volume
