We are seeking a Pathology Physician Assistant for a 45-day locum tenens assignment in North Dakota, starting Feb 2, 2026. This role features day shifts, Monday through Friday, with responsibilities focused on surgical excision, biopsies, and frozen section cases in a clinical pathology setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform surgical excision and biopsies
  • Conduct gross examination of biopsies and complex specimens
  • Perform and stain frozen sections
  • Follow procedures for allocating medical renal and/or muscle biopsies
  • Manage frozen section cases and complex surgical resection cases as required


Additional Information

  • Board certification in Pathology - Clinical required
  • Must be able to perform frozen section and complex surgical resection cases
  • North Dakota license required
  • American Society for Clinical Pathology certification required
  • Must be available at the time of name clear
