We are seeking a Pathology Nurse Practitioner for a 45-day locum tenens assignment in North Dakota. This position starts on Feb 2, 2026, and offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. The role focuses on surgical excisions, biopsies, and complex specimen analysis in a dynamic clinical pathology setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform surgical excision and biopsies
• Conduct gross examination of biopsies and complex specimens
• Perform and stain frozen sections
• Follow procedures for allocating medical renal and/or medical muscle biopsies
• Manage frozen section cases and complex surgical resection cases in accordance with established protocols

Additional Information

• Board certification in Pathology - Clinical required
• Must be able to perform frozen section and complex surgical resection cases
• Active North Dakota license required
• Availability at time of name clear required
