Job Description

We are seeking an Oncology Physician Assistant for a 90-day locum tenens assignment in North Dakota, starting Feb 2, 2026. The schedule offers clinic hours Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with coverage needed at least three days per week (Mon-Wed or Tues-Thurs). This opportunity is ideal for a board certified or board eligible provider with a strong background in oncology, who can collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic clinical setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Complete staging workups for oncology patients
• Formulate and initiate chemotherapy or immunotherapy treatments in collaboration with Radiation Oncology (on site) and surgical oncology (off site) as appropriate
• Collaborate with nurse practitioners and other physician assistants
• Provide oversight for the clinical aspects of treatment delivery and infusion therapy
• Coordinate patient care across regional health systems when necessary
• Ensure compliance with all clinical protocols and patient safety standards

Additional Information

• Board certification or eligibility required
• North Dakota license or IMLC highly preferred; consideration given to candidates willing to obtain ND licensure
• BLS and DEA required
• Clean malpractice history highly preferred
• Availability at time of name clear required
