Job Description

We are seeking an Oncology Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in North Dakota, starting Feb 2, 2026. This role offers clinic hours Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with coverage needed at least three days per week (Mon-Wed or Tues-Thurs), and no call responsibilities.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Complete staging workups for oncology patients
  • Formulate and initiate chemotherapy or immunotherapy treatments in collaboration with radiation oncology (on site) and surgical oncology (off site) as appropriate
  • Collaborate with nurse practitioners and physician assistants
  • Provide oversight for the clinical aspects of treatment delivery and infusions
  • Coordinate patient care across regional health systems as necessary
  • Perform bone marrow biopsies (preferred but not required)


Additional Information

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible required
  • North Dakota license or IMLC highly preferred; candidates willing to obtain a North Dakota license will be considered
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required
  • DEA required
  • Clean malpractice history highly preferred
  • Availability at time of name clear required
