Job Description

We are seeking a board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 42-day locum tenens assignment in New Mexico starting Oct 6, 2025. This role offers a Monday through Friday clinic schedule, with additional 24-hour call coverage. The ideal candidate will have high-risk experience and current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.

  • Schedule: Clinic Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-12pm; Call coverage 7am-7am; seeking 7-10 days per month

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in both clinical and call settings
  • Manage both routine and high-risk obstetric cases
  • Perform gynecological examinations, procedures, and surgeries as necessary
  • Participate in call coverage as scheduled
  • Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and patient management

Additional Information
  • Active New Mexico medical license required
  • Board certified or actively participating in the certification process for Obstetrics and Gynecology (must achieve certification within 5 years)
  • BLS, ACLS, NRP required; PALS preferred
  • High-risk obstetrics experience preferred
