Job Description

We are seeking a board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 15-day locum tenens assignment in Kentucky, starting Jan 5, 2026. This opportunity features 24-hour on-call shifts, with ongoing dates available throughout 2026. The role involves patient rounding, labor management, and responding to ER consults related to OBGYN concerns.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Patient rounding and management of labors
  • Management of antepartum triage and treatment
  • Respond to ER consults and concerns related to OBGYN issues
  • Perform labors and deliveries
  • Conduct C-sections
  • Manage maternal hypertension and maternal hemorrhage
  • Handle ER consults and associated procedures
  • Perform D&C, ablations, hysterectomy, and urgent gynecologic surgeries as needed


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
  • Active Kentucky state license required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and DEA required for credentialing
  • Clean malpractice history highly preferred
  • Availability at the time of name clear is required
