Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide 24-hour out-of-house call coverage for emergent neurosurgical cases
  • Perform both cranial and spinal procedures as required
  • Manage inpatient rounding on assigned patients
  • Respond to emergent surgical needs as they arise
  • Collaborate with hospital teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Neurological Surgery required; no board eligible candidates accepted
  • Must hold an active Michigan license or be eligible through IMLC with a clean background
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
  • Minimum 2-3 years of post-fellowship experience required
  • Clean professional background with no actions; minimal malpractice acceptable
