Job Description

We are actively seeking a Neurosurgery Physician Assistant for a 45-day assignment in Illinois, commencing Apr 6, 2026. This vital role primarily focuses on inpatient neurosurgery coverage, offering occasional support in the outpatient clinic setting. Responsibilities include rounding on patients, conducting comprehensive assessments, documentation, care coordination, and discharge planning.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Round on neurosurgery inpatients
• Conduct patient assessments and complete documentation
• Assist with care coordination and discharge planning
• Provide clinic support as needed
• Work collaboratively with neurosurgeons and the interdisciplinary care team

Additional Information

• EMR System: Epic
• Collaborate with two neurosurgeons and one additional APP, managing a shared inpatient census of approximately 20–25 patients
