Job Description

We are seeking a board-certified Pediatric Hospitalist for a locum tenens assignment in Nevada starting Dec 29, 2025. This opportunity features 12-hour day and night shifts with no weekends. The assignment involves supporting 24/7 neonatal nurse practitioner coverage, attending high-risk deliveries, rounding on well newborns, and assisting in a Level III NICU. Candidates must have pediatric board certification, an active Nevada license or IMLC eligibility, and at least one year of recent clinical experience in pediatric hospital medicine.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Attend all high-risk deliveries
  • Round on well-newborns
  • Assist in NICU as needed
  • Provide downtime coverage to 24-hour neonatal nurse practitioner in NICU for 2-4 hours in the afternoon


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Pediatrics required (no board eligibility accepted)
  • Active NV license or IMLC Compact eligibility required
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience in pediatric hospital medicine required
  • Must have been clinically active within the past year
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Completion of Prescreen Questionnaire and CV in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained required
