Wellhart is seeking a Physician specializing in Interventional Cardiology for a locum tenens position at a hospital in Kentucky. This 21-day assignment begins on 01/19/2026, and involves covering 24-hour on-call shifts from 7 AM to 7 AM, for 3-7 days per month. The interventional cardiologist will be responsible for performing a range of procedures including balloon angioplasties, coronary angioplasty, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), heart catheterization, and coronary angiograms. Additionally, the physician will handle general cardiology responsibilities, responding to all cardiology calls for the hospital and providing consultations. Proficiency in Epic EHR is required.
