Job Description

We are seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for a 120-day assignment with our client in Massachusetts, beginning Apr 6, 2026. This role involves providing general medicine and primary care at a flagship university-based adult primary care practice. The schedule consists of standard 8a-5p shifts, templated for 8-10 patients in 4-hour sessions, primarily with 30-minute visit durations.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide general medicine and primary care services within a main university campus setting.
  • Manage a patient load of 8-10 patients per 4-hour session, with standard 30-minute visit durations.
  • Handle occasional 15-minute visits for selected urgent care issues.
  • Collaborate within a team-based model of care.
  • Utilize support from MAs with high-level Epic skills for advanced rooming, medication reconciliation, care gap assistance, order pending, and immunization administration.
  • Work alongside advanced practitioners and have options to engage with medical residents.
  • Benefit from an assigned administrative assistant and dedicated nursing staff for triage and floor work.
  • Process in-basket messages through pools before they are passed on to providers.
  • Access on-site resources including labs, imaging (same-day fast track CT scans available), pharmacists, social workers, and behavioral health specialists.
  • Participate in a collaborative atmosphere with central resident precepting room and attending physician support.
