Job Description

We are seeking a board certified or board eligible General Surgeon for a 15-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania starting Nov 3, 2025. This opportunity features day coverage for both office and OR settings, with an estimated 5 shifts per month and no call responsibilities.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide general surgery services in both office and operating room settings
  • Perform procedures including appendix, gallbladder, hernia, and endoscopy cases
  • Deliver patient care consistent with board certification standards
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation as required


Additional Information

  • Active Pennsylvania medical license required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in general surgery
  • DEA license and ACLS certification are required
  • Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery is mandatory
