Job Description
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist for a locum tenens assignment in Texas, starting Nov 10, 2025. This opportunity features 24-hour call coverage with shifts from 7 AM to 7 AM, filling in for gaps alongside a team of four providers. The schedule includes multiple block dates through the end of 2026 and consists of performing normal GI procedures, including endoscopies, colonoscopies, and ERCP.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide inpatient gastroenterology consultation and coverage
- Perform GI procedures, including endoscopies and colonoscopies
- Conduct ERCP as needed
- Collaborate with care team for seamless patient management
- Adhere to all hospital policies and standards of care
Additional Information
- Gastroenterology board certification highly preferred; board eligible accepted
- Active Texas state medical license required
- Completion of a gastroenterology residency required
- ACLS certification required
- Clean malpractice history highly preferred
