Job Description
Our client in NE seeks a Gastroenterologist Physician for a 140-day assignment starting Oct 5, 2026. This role involves a dynamic schedule covering inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology, including 24/7 call coverage during assigned weeks, with a preferred rotation of one to two weeks on and one to two weeks off. The Physician will handle clinic coverage for two half-days a week for patient follow-ups and perform various procedures such as Endo, GI Bleeds, ERCP, EUS, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, and Polypectomy.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology care.
- Cover 24/7 call during assigned weeks, from Monday 7 AM to Monday 7 AM.
- Conduct clinic coverage for two half-days per week to follow up with patients.
- Perform a range of endoscopic procedures including Endo, GI Bleeds, ERCP, EUS, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, and Polypectomy.
- Collaborate with a Physician Assistant (PA-C) during clinic hours.
