Responsibilities and Duties
Provide outpatient gastroenterology care to adult patients in a clinic setting
Perform lower GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy
Conduct upper GI endoscopy procedures, including biopsy, foreign body removal, banding of varices, and diagnostic interventions
Document and communicate findings and care plans
Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure quality patient care
Additional Information
Board certification in Gastroenterology required (ABMS or AOA)
Active Maine medical license highly preferred; high-quality licensing candidates will be considered
Must hold current ACLS and BLS certifications
COVID and flu vaccination required
Provider must be available for the specific dates listed and able to commit long term
