Job Description

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist for a 32-day locum tenens assignment in Kentucky. This opportunity begins on Jan 6, 2026, and features 24-hour call coverage on a 7-on/7-off rotation. The assignment focuses on ERCP (highly preferred) and general endoscopic procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform ERCP procedures (highly preferred)
  • Manage bread and butter endoscopic cases
  • Provide on-call gastroenterology coverage as scheduled
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Adhere to all applicable clinical protocols and regulatory standards


Additional Information

  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Gastroenterology required
  • Kentucky medical license required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and DEA certification required
  • Clean malpractice history required
  • Immediate availability at time of name clear required
