We are seeking a Board Certified Gastroenterologist for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in Colorado, starting May 23, 2026. This opportunity offers 24-hour call coverage with consecutive shifts required, providing coverage from 7am to 7am. The assignment focuses on endoscopy, GI bleeds, and evaluation of GI problems.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform endoscopy procedures
  • Evaluate and manage GI bleeds
  • Assess and treat various gastrointestinal problems
  • Provide continuous coverage during assigned 24-hour call shifts


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Gastroenterology required
  • Active Colorado license or active IMLC (LOQ in hand at time of submission) required
  • Gastroenterology Fellowship required
  • Active DEA highly preferred and required for credentialing (candidates may transfer their DEA but must retain it for the duration of the assignment)
  • Preference given to candidates with a clean malpractice and background record; those with a self-inquiry NPDB report will be prioritized
