We are seeking an ABEM board-certified Emergency Medicine Doctor for a locum tenens assignment in Texas. This opportunity begins on Jan 1, 2026, and spans 36 days, with 12-hour shifts. The assignment involves providing emergency care and requires active Texas licensure, as well as current ACLS and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients
  • Diagnose and manage acute illnesses and injuries in the emergency department
  • Stabilize and treat patients presenting with a wide range of emergent conditions
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and ancillary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Document all encounters and procedures using Meditech EHR
  • Adhere to the facility’s clinical protocols and standards of care


Additional Information

  • Must be ABEM board certified in Emergency Medicine
  • Active Texas medical license required
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • Experience with Meditech EHR preferred
