Job Description

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 36-day locum tenens assignment with our client in Texas. This opportunity begins on Feb 2, 2026, and features 12-hour shifts. The assignment is open to board-certified Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine physicians with relevant emergency medicine experience.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide evaluation and management of patients presenting to the emergency department
  • Deliver acute care for a wide range of medical conditions
  • Collaborate with nursing and ancillary staff to ensure timely and effective patient care
  • Utilize Meditech EHR for documentation and order entry
  • Maintain compliance with all facility policies and regulatory requirements

Additional Information
  • Board certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Texas medical license required
  • ABEM not required; FM/IM physicians must have emergency medicine experience
