Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Dentist for a 2-day locum tenens assignment in Louisiana. This role begins on Dec 5, 2025, and involves working Friday and Saturday from 7am until the last patient is seen. The Dentist will provide a wide range of dental treatments, with an emphasis on general dentistry and oral surgery.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide dental treatments including extractions, dental fillings, cavity and tooth decay treatments, bonding, and application of dental crowns and caps
  • Utilize strong diagnostic skills in all phases of general dentistry
  • Emphasize oral surgery, simple restorative, and palliative care
  • Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
  • Adhere to all licensing and regulatory standards


Additional Information

  • Active Louisiana dental license with no restrictions required
  • DMD or DDS from an accredited US program required
  • Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) board certification required
  • Must provide a valid license, NPI number, CV/resume, CPR/BLS, real ID driver’s license, and NPDB report
