We are seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in Ohio starting Feb 23, 2026. This role features day shifts from 8am to 4pm, followed by nightly call and weekend call coverage. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical skills and a commitment to high-quality care in a dynamic surgical environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Suture removal
  • Diagnose and treat illnesses
  • Order and interpret tests
  • Write prescriptions
  • Coordinate patient care
  • Provide rounding on patients
  • Conduct pre-operative physical exams


Additional Information

  • Active Ohio license required
  • Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • 100 percent clean background required; no exceptions
  • Experience and training in relevant surgical duties required
