Job Description
We are seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Kentucky, starting Feb 16, 2026. This opportunity features 1-2 call days per week plus one weekend each month, with call hours from 7 am to 7 pm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for first assisting in CABG, AVR, MVR, and thoracotomy/lung resection cases, as well as performing OR, telemetry, and ICU duties.

Responsibilities and Duties
First assist in CABG, AVR, MVR, and thoracotomy/lung resection cases
Perform operating room (OR) duties
Provide care in telemetry and intensive care unit (ICU) settings
Conduct surgical CT, vein harvest, and chest tube placement
Additional Information
Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery required
Kentucky license required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
Clean malpractice history preferred
Availability at time of name clear highly preferred
