Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cardiology Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Washington. This opportunity begins on Feb 2, 2026, and features a full-time Monday through Friday schedule, 8am to 5pm, in an outpatient clinic setting. The ideal candidate must have outpatient cardiology and EPIC experience, and be comfortable providing follow-up and established patient care independently within a team-based environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide outpatient cardiology care to established patients
  • Conduct follow-up visits; no consultations, admissions, hospital rounding, or procedures required
  • Manage inbox and clinical communications for absent providers
  • Interpret cardiology imaging and diagnostic test results for complex patient management
  • Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC
  • Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and communication skills
  • Work independently while collaborating within a team-based model


Additional Information

  • Washington state license required
  • DEA and NPI required
  • Clean malpractice history highly preferred
  • Must be proficient in EPIC
  • Cardiology outpatient experience required
