We are seeking a Cardio Electrophysiology Physician Assistant for a locum tenens assignment in Ohio starting Feb 2, 2026. This 10-week opportunity features day shifts, Monday through Friday, with flexible start and end times and no weekends or holidays. The assignment involves inpatient EP APP coverage with the possibility of extension.

Provider Type Needed: Cardio Electrophysiology Physician Assistant
Schedule: Monday-Friday, flexible start/end times (e.g., 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm); no weekends or holidays; estimated 20 shifts per month
Responsibilities and Duties
Manage a caseload of 10-20 inpatients per day including consults and follow-up patients with electrophysiology conditions
Independently see and bill for follow-up patients and consults, with review by the EP physician rounding that week
Occasionally function as the second advanced practice provider on the inpatient EP service
Collaborate with 5-6 other inpatient advanced practice providers on the general service for additional support
Perform device checks and demonstrate understanding of device management; ability to perform device changes is beneficial
Ensure timely documentation and communication with the care team
Additional Information
Active Ohio state license required
Board certification required
Minimum of 1 year relevant experience
DEA registration required
Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
Must be proficient with device checks in the EP setting
