We are seeking a Cardio Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in Ohio beginning Feb 2, 2026. Provider Type Needed: Cardio Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner
Schedule: Monday–Friday, flexible day shifts (e.g., 8:00am–4:00pm or 9:00am–5:00pm), no weekends or holidays
Responsibilities and Duties
Manage a daily list of 10–20 patients, including consults and follow-up patients admitted for electrophysiology conditions
Independently see and bill follow-up patients; consults to be reviewed with the attending electrophysiology physician
Occasionally function as the second advanced practice provider on the inpatient electrophysiology service
Collaborate with a team of 5–6 other inpatient advanced practice providers for support on the general service
Understand device checks; ability to perform device changes is beneficial but not required
Ensure timely and accurate documentation and billing
Maintain compliance with hospital policies and standards
Additional Information
Current Ohio nurse practitioner license required
Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical experience
Board certified
ACLS and BLS certifications required
DEA registration mandatory
Must have experience with device checks in an inpatient setting
