We are seeking a Board Certified Cardiac Anesthesiologist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in New York, starting Mar 9, 2026, with orientation preceding clinical duties. This role offers a flexible schedule and involves 24/7 coverage for a low-volume cardiac anesthesia program, with infrequent after-hours call-ins and no general OR coverage.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide anesthesia care exclusively for cardiac cases
• Deliver 24/7 coverage within a low-volume cardiac anesthesia program
• Collaborate with experienced cardiac CRNAs in an anesthesia care team model (coverage ratios 1:2 to 1:3)
• Manage both general and cardiac anesthesia cases during prime time hours
• Respond to infrequent after-hours call-ins, solely for cardiac cases
• Ensure high standards of clinical care aligned with board certification requirements
