Job Description

We are seeking a certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist specializing in Anesthesiology for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in New York. This opportunity begins on Jan 5, 2026, and features 24-hour on-call shifts from 7 AM to 7 AM with weekend coverage as needed. The provider will manage a diverse case mix including general surgery, endoscopy, vascular, OB, orthopedic, bariatric, and urogynecologic procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide anesthesia care for general surgery, endoscopy, vascular, orthopedic, bariatric, obstetric, and urogynecologic cases
  • Support approximately 100 deliveries per month, with a low epidural rate and a 15 percent cesarean section rate
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including a large midwifery program
  • Exclude cases involving cardiac, neurosurgical, and thoracic procedures
  • Maintain compliance with all required safety and clinical protocols
  • Accurately document anesthesia services in accordance with facility standards


Additional Information

  • Current NBCRNA certification required
  • Active NY license required
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
  • Board certification in Anesthesiology required
